Chicago's Winter along Lake Michigan
In January 2014 the temps dropped to -18 degrees, on this day it was only about -6 but with 30mph winds! Fom the waters of Lake Michigan rose steam in low clouds moving across the waters at sunrise. I shot stills and video one cold morning along the lake. While many complained about how brutal the weather was, I thought it magical and beautiful. Perspective is how you view the world. You never know until the end of a project what imagery will make the edit but someof these scenes just might become part of my Great Lakes Project and my book The Sweetwater Seas.
