When I started shooting video I needed to try my hand at it just to explore how I could do and what the camera was all about. This video was done with a borrowed Canon 5D. I had not shot video before. I also had never edited it. So when I went out to feed my fish that morning I found exactly what I could try my hand at. The gold fish were spawning! They do this several times a year for a few hours in the morning and then fall silent. It is always quite the sight! Some years ago I started the pond with 13 gold fish and now there are over 50. So here is to the pond.
